While not all of us are lucky enough to be marrying into a Royal Family like Kate Middleton, you can certainly bring different aspects from the wedding of the decade to make you feel like royalty too!
The Dress: Pick a smaller boutique to find your dress and have it tailored and altered. You will have a smaller staff to work with, one that will be able to dote and attend to you more so than if you go to a larger shop or chain boutique.
The Glass Slipper: Once you have found your perfect dress, it’s time to find the perfect shoes for your gown and special day. Find an intimate, one of a kind shoe boutique. Splurge a little, live a little, and buy a pair of fabulous designer heels that are one of a kind. Just don’t lose one like Cinderella!
Royal Jewels: Accessorize your royal garb with gems and jewels fit for a queen. Add faux chandelier earrings, pearls to your veil, or head over to www.rentherunway.com to rent some fabulous designer jewels at amazing rental prices.
The Royal Court: So you get to be a princess for a day, why not treat your royal court (bridesmaids) as well? Give them sweet little gifts ( doesn’t have to cost a lot!), order mini petite cakes or fancy sandwiches while you and your ladies prep for your special day. Treat them to an elegant tea to thank them for all of their hard work, love and support.
Enjoy your wedding preparations just as if you were royalty; remember, in your fiancé’s eyes you are his princess and queen-to-be! Happy Planning and Princess-ing!
